Director, Quality
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
The Director of Quality is a strategic leader responsible for defining and executing Elutia’s quality vision and ensuring a robust, compliant Quality Management System (QMS) across all operations. The Director, Quality, partners closely with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, and Operations to embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization. This leader ensures that all products meet regulatory, internal, and customer standards while enabling innovation and operational excellence.
Research Associate
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
The Research Associate I will work in a collaborative team environment to design assays for the scientific characterization and development of tissue-based and biomaterial products in compliance with Elutia’s quality and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate is able to effectively handle multiple tasks while learning and adapting to different projects. The successful candidate will execute, optimize, and analyze a broad range of bioassays, biomechanical and material characterizations, and product prototyping. In addition, this position will support the development of manufacturing processes, including scale-up for full production and/or production transfer.
Process Quality Engineer
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
Elutia is seeking a hands-on Process Quality Engineer to drive quality activities supporting the transfer, scale-up, and commercial manufacture of innovative drug-eluting biological products in a small, fast-paced environment.
People Operations Coordinator
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
The People Operations Coordinator keeps Elutia’s people and culture running day-to-day, based out of our Headquarters office in Gaithersburg. This role owns front-line recruiting support — sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews — while also driving the programs that keep our office connected, including culture and engagement events, team-building activities, office lunches, and day-to-day office operations.
Director, Marketing
Location: Gaithersburg, MD or San Diego, CA
The Director of Strategic Marketing will work directly with the CEO, CCO, CSO, and SVP of Medical Affairs to create, own, and implement the marketing strategy. Establish NXT-41x as the standard of care for infection prevention in plastic and reconstructive surgery by creating the market position, strategy, and sales collateral needed for success.
Manufacturing Technician
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
The Manufacturing Technician, Equipment & Operations is a hands-on member of Elutia’s Operations team responsible for supporting the start-up, scale-up, and ongoing manufacture of combination products. The position will initially focus on establishing manufacturing operations and preparing for the commercial launch of a new product and will transition into supporting routine commercial manufacturing as production scales.
Financial Reporting Manager
Location: Gaithersburg, MD
The Financial Reporting Manager partners directly with the Corporate Controller to oversee the daily operations of the accounting department. This individual leads a swift and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process, while ensuring absolute alignment with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX internal control frameworks. This role acts as a critical liaison between the broader business and the finance leadership team, providing technical accounting leadership and driving continuous financial system improvements.
