Postion Overview.

Elutia is seeking highly motivated and experienced Distributors to help us transform patient care by introducing Elutia’s cutting-edge medical product, specifically EluPro™, for implantable electronic devices to hospitals and physicians.

Be the force behind our robust, but easy-to-use constructs that ensure implant stability and promote wound healing. This consulting role is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in medical device sales, particularly in the Cardiovascular or Electrophysiology fields.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling Elutia products (specifically EluPro) within a designated area, working towards achieving sales goals, and building and maintaining strong relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Market Penetration and Sales Performance. Drive the introduction and sales of Elutia (EluPro) products within the assigned territory. Achieve and surpass sales targets through effective planning and execution.

Physician and Hospital Outreach.  Identify potential hospitals and physicians for product integration. Engage in regular visits and follow-up, ensuring a strong presence in the medical community.

Partnership Development and Support. Provide partnership support, including physician and staff education, training, and mentoring. Promote Elutia products as the standard of care in surgery, necessitating a deep understanding of product features and benefits.

Customer Relationship Management. Maintain regular contact with customers, offering support and ensuring satisfaction. Manage customer complaints efficiently, adhering to quality system requirements.

Compliance and Training. Stay compliant with company policies and participate actively in internal training sessions, regional, and national meetings.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Preferably in a relevant field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in medical device sales, with a preference for experience in Cardiovascular or Electrophysiology sales.

Experience and Skills

Specialized Skills, Knowledge:
  • Professional Attributes: Maturity, confidence, flexibility, excellent judgment, and listening skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with quality systems and timely reporting of customer complaints.
  • Travel: Significant travel within the assigned geography. A valid driver’s license is essential.
